Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026 · Applies to Xeta, Kevo and Vibzy
This policy covers Kevo's paid subscriptions (billed by Xeta via PayU) and explains how purchases made on merchants' Kevo stores are handled. Vibzy is free, so nothing here applies to it.
1. Kevo subscriptions & billing
- Kevo plans are billed in INR via PayU (UPI, cards, net banking) for the period shown at checkout.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled first.
- Prices, inclusions and any taxes are always displayed before you pay on kevo.in.
2. Cancelling
- Cancel any time from your Kevo dashboard (Billing) or by contacting support.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal — your paid features keep working until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- After expiry your sites stay safe on the free tier; features exclusive to paid plans (like custom domains) pause until you resubscribe.
3. When we refund
- Duplicate or failed payments: charged twice, or money debited but the plan never activated — full refund of the extra/failed charge.
- Service not provisioned: if a paid feature you purchased was never made available to you and we can't fix it promptly — refund for that purchase.
- Wrongful charge after cancellation: if you cancelled before renewal but were still billed — full refund of that renewal.
Beyond these cases, fees for the current billing period are non-refundable (no pro-rata refunds for unused days), except where Indian consumer law requires otherwise.
4. How to request a refund
- Write to us via the Contact page (or Kevo support) within 7 days of the charge.
- Include the registered email, transaction ID / PayU reference, and a short description.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days; banks may take a few extra days to reflect it.
5. Purchases on Kevo merchant stores
Stores built on Kevo use direct-UPI checkout— your payment goes straight to the merchant's own UPI (or you pay cash on delivery). Xeta never holds these funds and is not a party to the sale, so returns and refunds for those purchases are governed by the merchant's own policy — contact the seller directly. If you believe a Kevo-hosted store is fraudulent, report it to us and we'll investigate the site.
6. Chargebacks & questions
Before raising a chargeback with your bank, please give us a chance to resolve the issue — it's almost always faster. For anything unclear about this policy, reach us via the Contact page.
